This is a museum replica piece also inspired by Anne Rice's Celebration of Life, specifically the characters of Akasha and Enkil from Queen of the Damned.
Lapis Lazuli heishi, gold plated hematite heishi and round beads, matte Turquoise from Afghanistan, 22k gold plated clasp and 24k gold plated beadwire, with two antiqued gold glass cylinder beads at nape of the neck.
These types of necklaces were worn by Pharoahs and Priest/esses alike, often found in tombs of the wealthy. The materials are what could be found/made thousands of years ago, and much like other Pharonic jewelry, it has been blessed by me, a legally ordained Priestess of Auset (Isis). 28".
Lapis is the stone of kings and queens, amplifying leadership, success, and manifesting balanced emotions during decision making where the heart and the will must meet for the greatest possible outcome. Turquoise is calming and protective, highly praised by the Ancient Egyptians, whose modern day source is the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula and Afghanistan, which is also a land rich in Lapis.
