BAST AND KHEPRI PROTECTION NECKLACE
Onyx faceted teardrops, dyed and molded Cinnabar roses, Mexican silver sheen Obsidian cats, faceted Black Spinel, solid Sterling Silver detailed antiqued Ankh amulet, sterling silver spacers, sterling silver plated clasp and beadwire, two metal dragonflies signifying transformation at nape of neck.
Approximately 27".
This sterling silver Ankh is the amulet of Tut and Ramses, considered to be one of the most powerful protection amulets in Ancient Egypt at the time of these powerful Pharoahs. It features the God Khepri (scarab) with their names written on the Ankh itself, who was a powerful protector of those descended from the divine. Bast walks the line between the seen and unseen, wards off evil for the wearer, which makes the Obsidian and Onyx in this piece do that work doubly.
Onyx brings forth inner confidence and strength, working on the 1st, 3rd, and 6th chakras. Obsidian is all about psychic protection, grounding, and cleansing - aiding the energy of Bast/Bastet in Her mission to ward off evil. Cinnabar is an Alchemy stone that when crushed and magically applied, can transform into Mercury.
This Cinnabar has been dyed dark blood red, and enhanced for stability. Its base properties still apply, which are transformation, accessing the mind's highest agility for manifestation of energy, spirituality, and magical ability through will-power, enhanced by Onyx. Black Spinel brings victory; re-energizing to avoid depletion, and revitalization. This necklace combines the power of the Earth, Fire, and Water elements for balance and centering one's self within your atomic shield against negatives. It's energy feels safe and secure but ever-watchful.
Note: the cat heads are flat-backed and round polished with a cat-eye silver sheen. The roses are 3D and have a rounded back. The necklace has a sparkle and shine I could not photograph well. The Ankh is approximately 1.5" long.
Perfect for Samhain.
