This one is a bit of Ancient Egypt and the Indigenous North and South Americas all in one. In place of bone beads I have used a gorgeous onyx, revered by the Ancient Mayan, Incan, and Aztec cultures. It is paired with the stone of kings and queens in Ancient Nubia and Egypt - Lapis. The style is a Native American style Southwestern Jacla necklace, as you will find a lot of lapis in Southwestern designs today. It makes a stunning ceremonial piece, as well as every day wear for those who wish to feel bold and beautiful. It looks and feels ancient.
The Jacla style necklace, like the Squash Blossom style necklace, comes from a time where different Native Cultures wore their wealth on their person - in the form of necklaces, rings, and earrings. The Jacla style is Y shaped, with non-removable "earrings" dangling from the bottom center.
The sterling silver bench beads are stamped with a star pattern, and bring in the symbols and wisdom of the star people.
